User Agreement

This User Agreement ("Agreement") governs your use of the website, services, and platform provided by Ratio Staffing Substitute Teachers LLC ("Ratio Staffing," "we," "us," or "our") through https://ratiostaffing.com ("Site").

By accessing or using the Site, you agree to the terms of this Agreement. If you do not agree, do not use the Site.

Section A: General Terms for All Users

1. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into contracts to use the Site. You agree to provide accurate, complete information during account creation and to update your information as needed.

2. Privacy and Data Use
By using the Site, you acknowledge and accept our Privacy Policy, including how we collect, use, and store data. We may record usage activity for security, analytics, and product improvement.

3. User Content
You may upload resumes, job listings, or other relevant content ("User Content"). You grant Ratio Staffing a worldwide, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, and display such content in connection with operating the Site. You represent that you have the right to share any content you submit and that it does not violate the law or third-party rights.

4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:

  • Provide false or misleading information.

  • Use bots, scrapers, or automated tools to access the Site.

  • Post illegal, abusive, discriminatory, or confidential information.

  • Infringe on intellectual property or personal privacy.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.

5. Platform Functionality
Ratio Staffing does not guarantee job placement, hiring outcomes, or uninterrupted access. We do not control or verify the accuracy of job listings, resumes, or user-generated content. Use of the platform is at your own discretion and risk.

Section B: Additional Terms for Employers (Preschools and Organizations)

1. Employer Accounts
If you post jobs or represent a preschool, you must:

  • Have authority to bind your organization.

  • Use your account only for business purposes.

  • Comply with applicable laws regarding employment, including wage transparency, nondiscrimination, and record retention.

You are responsible for any content you post and any hiring decisions made through the platform.

2. Job Listings and Hiring Tools
Employers may search and save educator profiles as part of the hiring process. Ratio Staffing provides this tool to help you identify potential candidates. This tool is provided "as-is" without guarantees. You agree to use it in accordance with all applicable employment laws.

You agree not to:

  • Discriminate in your job listings.

  • Use the platform to collect unnecessary or sensitive personal data.

  • Mislead or falsely represent job openings.

3. Access and Shared Accounts
Admins can invite team members to access shared employer accounts and assign different permission levels. You are responsible for actions taken by your authorized users. Linked accounts may share visibility into job postings, applicant activity, and billing.

Section C: Additional Terms for Educators (Job Seekers)

1. Job Applications
You may browse and apply to job postings freely. We do not guarantee that applications will be received, reviewed, or result in interviews or job offers. Use your own judgment when evaluating opportunities.

2. Profiles and Resumes
You may upload resumes and build a profile viewable by preschools. You control whether your profile is searchable. However, once shared, your profile or application may be copied or stored by employers or third parties.

Do not upload sensitive personal data such as Social Security numbers, driver licenses/ID cards, or background checks.

3. Application Tools
Ratio Staffing may suggest job matches based on your profile. Any suggestions or tools provided are informational and do not guarantee outcomes. It is your responsibility to ensure your profile is accurate and current.

Section D: Legal and General Provisions

1. Termination
We may suspend or terminate access to the Site at our discretion, without liability, if you violate this Agreement.
Additional reasons for suspension or termination include (but are not limited to):

  • Harmful, abusive, or unprofessional behavior.

  • Submission of incorrect or misleading information.

  • Failure to show up for scheduled shifts (e.g., substitute, enrichment, or speech pathology assignments).

2. Disclaimers
The Site and services are provided “as is” and without warranties. We are not responsible for third-party actions or user content. You assume all risk when using the platform.

3. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Ratio Staffing shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Site.

4. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Ratio Staffing from any claims, damages, or liabilities arising out of your use of the Site or your violation of this Agreement.

5. Modifications
We may update this Agreement from time to time. Changes will be effective upon posting. Continued use of the Site after changes constitutes acceptance.

6. Governing Law
This Agreement is governed by U.S. law.
